MinFound Medical Systems has put significant efforts into the development of its PET/CT systems. Although, this medical imaging solution wasn't put on the international market till recently, it's worth mentioning, that back in 2011 MinFound Medical already participated Chinese National 5-year development plan with its digital PET detector project, and in 2016 fully accomplished the research goals, becoming first Chinese manufacturer of fully digital PET detector.
● Early detection. PET/CT can diagnose tumors and other diseases at an early stage. Hidden tiny lesions can be found before the anatomical structure changes in the early stage of the tumor.
● Safe and non-invasive. Most of the nuclides used in the inspection are the basic elements of human life or very similar nuclides, and the half-life is very short. The dose received is slightly higher than that of a chest CT scan, which is safe and efficient.
● The result is accurate. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, it can provide valuable functional and metabolic information, while providing precise anatomical information.
● Fast and comprehensive. A PET/CT whole-body scan (neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis) only takes a few minutes to obtain PET, CT and fusion of the whole body cross-sectional, coronal and sagittal images, which can visually see the disease Affected parts and conditions in the whole body.
● PET/CT has laid a reliable foundation for the realization of the "four determinations" (positioning, qualitative, quantitative, and regular) of medical imaging tumor diagnosis for diagnosis and treatment.
● Differentiate benign and malignant tumors, provide information on the presence or absence of tumor metastasis in organs and tissues throughout the body, and conduct accurate clinical staging of tumors;
● It is helpful to find the primary lesion of the tumor and confirm the existing metastases;
● Follow-up after tumor treatment to guide clinical adjustment of treatment plan in time.
Last Friday, MinFound held a special ceremony in regard of its first PET/CT scanner overseas shipment. All the corresponsive head of departments and leading specialists attended the event showing support and devotion to the greater deed.
Another remarkable detail is that the second PET/CT is already on its way to be prepped for the shipment to another customer.
