1.1 Patented Scintillator Material
ScintiStar detector is based on the rare-earth ceramic material with a cubic garnet crystal structure. Such design enables sensitivity to X-rays with visible light conversion rate increasing by 150 times compared to GOS and low afterglow. It also allows acquiring more data per rotation while generate less electronic noise, and therefore delivers high-resolution images.
1.2 EAA (Eliminate Artifact Architecture) ASG
Due to its ability to effectively absorb the scattering X-ray, the anti-scattering grid (ASG) plays an important role in detector sampling. Unlike conventional ASG designs, which use the same grid for neighboring modules, MinFound EAA ASG uses a separate grid between adjacent modules, considerably minimizing the possibility of grid expansion due to heat. Thus, reducing the presence of artifacts in images.
1.3 Highly Modularized & Integrated Design
The ScintiStar detector masterfully incorporates an ASG, a scintillator array, a photodiode, and an ASIC chip into a small module. This architecture facilitates to improve the signal-to-noise ratio while allowing more modularized maintenance.
