The 2022 Asian Games, officially the 19th Asian Games and also known as Hangzhou 2022, was a continental multi-sport event which was held from 23 September to 8 October 2023 in Hangzhou, China. The games marked the 110th anniversary since the creation of the first continental event, starting with the 1913 Far Eastern Championship Games.
During the Asian Games that were held in Hangzhou in September, one of young MinFounders also left his footprints in the historical event as a volunteer.

Shen Yu Kang is a student of Zhejiang Technological College, who came to MinFound for his first internship several months ago. As eventful and active as the student's life gets, the plate is never full. That's why Shen Yu Kang along with his classmates was so eager to take on the role of a volunteer in the Asian Games, too.

Since the official start of the volunteering for competitions on September 19, Shen Yu Kang has served at 11 competitions, and as he excitedly shares, each of them had something memorable and valuable to mark his memory. Decorating the lounge area, group birthday party, Mid-Autumn Festival party, a whole series of special activities, creating a strong atmosphere of "participating in the Asian Games and contributing to the Asian Games".
"During the official competition, I met a lot of interesting spectators," - Shen Yu Kang shares. "Including very enthusiastic Koreans, handsome Saudis, and Shan Yang Jun （Chinese famous sports blogger）, who is more handsome than the one on the screen. Although, it was quite challenging, we were volunteering at the Huanglong Stadium, and a few times there were two rounds of contests per day, so we had to be there almost until midnight. Overall, it was a challenging though rewarding experience".

He shared, that due to the business, volunteers had a chance to spend together one of the Chinese most popular traditional holidays of the Mid-Autumn. This time, instead of the traditional celebration at home with family, he was at the stadium halls and staff rooms, but nevertheless, still filled with heart-warming happiness.
